Diversity & Inclusion Conference – Action, Results, Impact

29 JANUARY 2025 | MANCHESTER HALL

The Cultural Intelligence Centre is an innovative, research-based training and consulting firm that believes our cultural differences can empower us to build a better world. We draw upon empirical findings to help organisations and individuals assess and improve cultural intelligence (CQ) – the ability to work effectively with people from different nationalities, ethnicities, age groups, and more.

We create programmes, workshops, certifications, and multiple-language assessments to help people and organisations acquire CQ capabilities. We not only create awareness, but also provide people with the inspiration and tools to improve their interactions and relationships with diverse colleagues, friends, and family. Our work is deeply involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as CQ is the strategic link that brings DEI efforts together, leading to meaningful and sustainable results.

Our globally diverse team of experts and trainers serves clients all over the world to help everyone, everywhere, unlock the power of CQ.  More information about the Cultural Intelligence Centre can be found on our website at https://culturalq.co.uk

Neurosight combine neuroscience and AI to create bespoke online psychometric assessments that help major employers like Grant Thornton, Virgin Media o2, and the NHS identify, hire, and develop the right talent – without bias, in just 3 to 5 minutes.

While conventional online psychometric tests only score the answers provided, we go much deeper. Uniquely, we apply advances in neuroscience to analyse how candidates arrive at their decisions, revealing their real-time cognitive journey, and delivering far more insight than the answer itself.

This unique approach delivers up to 6X the accuracy of conventional online psychometric assessments, in 95% less time, without bias – and is highly resilient to generative AI tools like ChatGPT. Our customers confirm that when it comes to online psychometric assessment, nothing is faster, fairer, or more accurate.

We are Widgit, a pioneering software company with a passion for symbols-based communication. We empower individuals to express themselves independently through symbols, aiding comprehension and understanding across any environment. Our Widgit Online and InPrint software give users access to our entire symbol language, designed to meet the unique needs of symbol users across a multitude of settings.

One of our key initiatives, Symbol Friendly Organisations (SFO), helps businesses create more inclusive environments by adopting consistent symbol communication. Symbols empower all visitors, including non-native speakers, individuals with low literacy, and non-verbal customers, ensuring they can fully engage with services and experiences. By becoming a Symbol Friendly Organisation, businesses demonstrate social responsibility and promote inclusivity.

Widgit’s Symbol Friendly programme already fosters accessibility across public services, attractions, and sporting venues. Through tailored resources and training, we support organisations in creating environments where everyone feels valued and where no one is left behind.
